Missions

Calvary Assembly of God is proud to sponsor many Assemblies of God Missionaries. Please help us support our missionaries. Mark the box on your tithing envelope for ‘Missions’ to donate or visit the missionaries websites and please pray for all our missionaries as they do the Lord’s work.

Follow these missionaries on Facebook!

Some missionaries cannot be listed due to their location in sensitive regions like the Middle East and Asia. You can still help them with your prayers and donations made directly to Calvary Assembly of God marked ‘Missions.’

Assemblies of God Missionaries:

Kidz Romania

Tamara Henkes ministers in Romania as part of Kidz Romania. She says her mission is to “to partner with the national churches in reaching the children of Romania with the Gospel of Jesus Christ through evangelistic crusades, training children’s workers and equipping churches with resources for effective children’s ministry”.

ChildHope
ChildHope formerly Latin America Childcare, an Assemblies of God ministry, establishes new churches and schools in slum areas of Latin America cities, and recruits sponsors for the children. ChildHope serves nearly 100,000 children in 300 schools and projects in 21 countries throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.
Calvary Assembly’s sponsorship helps provide a Christian education and things like food, medical care and, in some cases, uniforms for individual children. Come read letters from the children posted in our hallway across from the Women’s Boxes.

Kimberley Kids
Kimberley Kids is a church ministry to help the children of Kimberley, South Africa. This ministry is near and dear to Pastor Adrian and his wife. The magnitude of children living in deep poverty in this area is shocking. By working with our partners in South Africa, we are able to help these children with meals, school supplies, shelter, clothing, shoes, blankets, and even a small gift on Christmas.

You can help support this ministry by dropping your money in the Kimberley Kids box after service or marking your donation ‘Kimberley Kids’.

Light for the Lost

Light for the Lost (LFTL) serves to “empower the church to provide God’s Word for every person on the planet.” Providing a variety of resources such as audio, visual, and printed materials, LFTL has one guiding principle: all Light For The Lost assistance must be to provide resources directly related to evangelism.

 Bryan and Mari Eygabond

Both Bryan and Mari are excited to serve the people of Lesotho, and be witnesses for God, to bring Him glory. Bryan began serving with MAF in 2008, spending his first term in Lesotho. In 2012 Bryan married his sweetheart, Mari and returned to Lesotho. Their first born son, Matthias, was born in Johannesburg, South Africa in October 2013. Bryan and Mari pray that Acts 1:8 is lived out in their lives before the people they are called to serve, just as they value the examples of Christ they see in the godly men and women they are blessed to call friends.

Mission Aviation Fellowship

Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) uses planes to fly the Word of Jesus Christ around the world. You’ll find MAF in the hardest-to-reach locations, where people live isolated from the rest of the world, cut off from the most basic necessities. Their highly trained pilots maneuver Cessna and KODIAK aircraft through rugged terrain. And while passengers might hold their breath, MAF pilots skillfully land at short, unimproved airstrips on the sides of mountains, in jungle clearings, or on tropical rivers—to bring medicine and doctors, disaster relief, education, evangelists, Bible translators, food supplies, agriculture and clean water projects, and more.
